health tips: food glorious, FOOD! :)



since this is the month of Ramadhan, lets start fresh with what's bad to eat & how to cook yur meals the healthier way :)


i may not be able to explain clearly why bt i wan you to try it. it may be a lil hard for you to comprehend.


1)SALT

tt is the most important ingredient! its wat makes your food taste gd & it is 1 of the main cause of high-blood pressure(hypertension). but how u add salt in your food is what matters most as it prevents hypertension & possibly cancer.



tell your mothers not to add salt when they are cooking.
only add them when they are about to serve the WARM food.
& 1 table spoon is more than enough.


salt is sodium chloride. by adding them whille cooking, they are actually boiling the salt, seperating the sodium & chlorine apart. tts wen things gets nasty in your body. coz u see, sodium chloride comes in a pair. once u seperate em, there's gonna be disaster. tis is sum' about the chemistry composition & its effects on our body.



2) all things comes in pair:


- fats + sugar
- sour + salty

if you dun follow this simple rule of pairing those 2 together, tts when u get damaged kidneys. so say NO to sweet & sour food or "3 rasa" foods coz yur gonna over-work your kidney and end up damaging them.



3) refrain from consuming anything with high sugar content from 10/11am till the next morning.


if you must, consume jux minimal amt & not too often. this is to prevent diabetes. coz yur body dun nd sugar after 11am.
unless if the high sugar content food you are eating are naturally sweet. eg, sugar canes & dates(kurma). provided you dun add sugar to them :)



4) too much of anything is never good for your body! :)
